Ironline Command
★★★★☆ 4.4
Ironline Command drops you into a series of defensive scenarios where you never quite have enough units. That constant shortage is the whole point, and it forces you to make ugly, interesting decisions. Do you pull the artillery back and lose ground, or gamble on holding the line one more turn?
The touch controls are cleaner than most strategy games manage on a small screen. You drag units into position, pinch to see the whole map, and orders register instantly. There's a fog-of-war mechanic that keeps you guessing without feeling unfair.
It's demanding, and the difficulty curve spikes hard around the fourth mission, but the satisfaction of a plan coming together is real. Strategy fans should give it a serious look.
