Racing
Neon Drift Circuit
★★★★☆ 4.2
Neon Drift Circuit is unapologetically arcade. You're not tuning suspension here, you're chaining drifts through neon canyons and trying to keep a combo alive. Tilt or button steering are both offered, and the buttons felt tighter to us for the harder tracks.
The soundtrack does a lot of heavy lifting, pulsing along as your speed climbs. Tracks are short but designed to be replayed, and beating your own ghost time is weirdly addictive. There's a small career mode to unlock new cars, none of which are locked behind anything grindy.
It's not deep, and it doesn't pretend to be. What it delivers is a clean, fast, good-looking racer you can enjoy in bursts.
What we liked
- Two control schemes that both work
- Excellent synth soundtrack
- Short, replayable tracks
